Projects

Raiders for 3D TECHnology is a group of Texas Tech students spanning across different majors that are all interested in understanding and developing 3D modeled devices. Our goal is to help the world around us via computer-aided design and additive manufacturing.

Spring 2019

Taking measurements for prosthetics can be a long and tedious process. In order to improve both the overall experience and the data collected, we decided to come up with a better solution.  Using a system of cameras, we can provide a 360 view of the subject. This will create a 3D model that can be used to make a perfect prosthetic fit. We hope this will help us in the future and cut down time on the initial measuring process.

Fall 2018 - Present

In collaboration with e-NABLE, R3T modifies 3D hand prosthetics to fill the needs of our clients. As a hub in West Texas, we provide low cost prosthetic limbs that will enhance the experience for a person in need.
